In celebration of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th, Kokopelli Golf Club in Maion will honor all active-duty military personnel and veterans by offering complimentary golf. Those who have served our country are invited to enjoy a day on the course for free, while their guests will receive a special discounted rate. This is an annual event to show gratitude to veterans for their service. Tee times can be reserved by calling 618-997-5656 ext. 1.

The Olney Central College Music Department will host its Fall Concert tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center. The community is invited to enjoy performances by the OCC Concert and Big Bands, along with various chamber ensembles. Admission to the concert is free.

Food Drive For Veterans
Who: Egyptian Area Agency on Aging
What: Food Drive for veterans and their families

When: through November 11th

Where: Food donations may be dropped off at 200 E, Plaza Drive, Carterville.

Why: Egyptian AAA will deliver donations to the VA food pantry to give out to veterans and families.
