The City of Carbondale has announced the annual tree lighting ceremony at town square will take place on Wednesday, December 4th from 5 to 7pm. There will be cookies & hot cocoa, make & take crafts, and of the chance to meet Santa!

In Carterville, the 3rd Annual Christmas Parade is planned for Friday, December 6th at 6:30pm in downtown Carterville. There will be Christmas Caroling and lots of Christmas Magic. Those interested in participating in the parade should contact Khrissy Hollister at Carterville City Hall.
