The Jackson County Historical society hosts a short presentation on the 100th anniversary of the infamous Tri-State Tornado of 1925 at the Liberty Theater in Murphysboro. There will be guest speaker and two short videos about the event. There are two show times available. This event is free for all to attend. He will discuss Pre-Contact (before AD 1500) pictograph and petroglyph archaeological sites of southern Illinois.
