SIU Chancellor Austin Lane says the campus is mourning after the death of a student on Monday.
Paden Schultz was a zoology major from Waterloo. He was also a leader on the university's new student orientation team, a mentor in the Saluki Summer Bridge program, and a Marching Saluki.

Arrangements for Schultz have not yet been announced.
