This week Chicago will become a hub for Saluki fans once again during the Saluki takeover of the Windy City.

The keynote event will be Chancellor Austin Lane's Reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant.

This free event offers alumni, friends, and SIU leaders the chance to catch up and share their Saluki stories.

Alumni are also invited to Stumpy's Pub in Rockford on Friday evening from five to seven.

A multi-cultural reception is set for the same time at Highline Bar & Lounge.

To cap it off, there will be an SIU alumni tailgate before the Saluki Football team takes on Northern Illinois in DeKalb on Saturday.

The tailgate will run from noon to 2 p.m. before the game kicks off at 2:30.
