Saturday's Homecoming game at Saluki Stadium will feature a pre-game flyover during the national anthem.
The AWACS plane will arrive above the stadium during the national anthem at precisely 1:49:53 p.m. and is traveling from the 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Lieutenant Colonel Sean "Flash" Gordon -- the Section Leader in command of the mission and Director of Operations for the 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron -- is a Saluki grad.
Lieutenant Colonel Gordon is a member of the Class of 2006, having majored in Aviation Technology with a specialization in Helicopter Maintenance.
He was also the 2004 SIU Homecoming king.
