Starting to get flustered over what to give for a holiday gift? Southern Illinois University Carbondale printmaking and ceramic students will be showing their works just in time for the season during a sale on Nov. 29.
The public event is from 5 to 8 p.m. in the ceramic studio, Pulliam Industrial Wing, Room 102.
The sale serves as a showcase of “some of the outstanding work created by our talented students,” said Pattie Chalmers, a professor and head of the ceramics program in the School of Art and Design.
Any student in a ceramics or print class can put their work in the sale. Proceeds of the holiday sale go to support the research and travel for students in their specific area of study.
