The Saluki women add two in the 2024 recruiting class

The Saluki women's basketball program is welcoming in a transfer from Western Kentucky University.

Karris Allen is a junior, 6-foot guard. She played in 55 games in two seasons with 12 starts for WKU.

Allen is also a regional player who played high school ball in Sikeston, Missouri.

At Sikeston High School, she was named All-Conference, All-District, SEMO Conference Leading Scorer, and was named Standard Democrat Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

Allen will be joining the 2024 recruiting class as SIU's second signee.

The first was Kelowna Ngoyi, a 5'10 guard who will be an incoming freshman from Montreal, Canada.
