Another holdover from the Bryan Mullins era is returning to SIU to play for new Saluki men's basketball coach Scott Nagy.

6'8" graduate student Jarrett Hensley has announced he will back in Carbondale for his final season of college basketball.

Last season in his first campaign with SIU, Hensley averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 23 games.

Prior to coming to Carbondale, Hensley played at the University of Cincinnati and UNC-Greensboro.

He joins Sheridan Sharp as players recruited by Coach Mullins to stick around to play for Coach Nagy.

Trey Miller has put his name back in the transfer portal after recently saying he had decided to return to SIU after initially exploring the portal.

Meanwile, Nagy signed his third recruit in 6'9" freshman forward Rolyns Aligbe out of Minneapolis, who played prep ball in Massachusetts.

He joins forward Jaheem Webber and guard Drew Steffe in Nagy's initial recruiting class.
