The Association of the University Press and the SIU Press hosts the 59th annual Book, Jacket, and Journal show.
The showcase recognizes the university design community's achievements in production, plus the publication work of university press-published texts.
Amy Etcheson, the director of the SIU Press, said, "Though university press books are mostly known for their rigorous scholarship and peer review process, they are often beautifully designed as well. This exhibit celebrates the best-designed covers and interiors of books and journals published by university presses last year."
The categories include journals, typographic scholarly and trade books, poetry, literature, and reference books.
The exhibit will be displayed in the Hall of Presidents and Chancellors at Morris Library until the end of the month.
