The Global War on Terror Wall of Remembrance is making an extended stop at Mtn Dew Park in Marion this Fourth of July weekend.

The traveling memorial commemorates the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks as well as the men and women who sacrificed their lives defending our country.

On Friday, a motorcycle group comprised of Veterans will escort the Wall of Remembrance from Paducah to Marion for installation.

The Wall will be on display at the ballpark throughout the Thrillville Thrillbillies’ 4-Day Star Spangled Celebration, and four game homestand from Friday, June 30 through Monday, July 3.
