Coldest Night of the Year Carbondale Fundraiser

The Coldest Night of the Year Feb 24 Poster
The City of Carbondale

The Coldest Night of the Year" fundraising campaign is held annually all over North America.

"The Coldest Night of the Year" fundraising campaign is held annually in Carbondale. The Carbondale Warming Center, which has locally provided 24/7 assistance to those in need during extreme weather conditions since 2020, is holding its annual 3 to 5K charity walk next month.

Participants form teams and come together for a walk surrounding Carbondale Community High School. As walkers return, they will enjoy a celebratory party with food and activities. The event is on February 24, the night with the lowest average temperatures in the US and Canada each year.
