The City of Carbondale is honoring Black History Month with the "At The Table" dinner and dialogue series.
The discussion will include the public, community members, and the Carbondale Branch NAACP to engage in a free and open conversation.
Residents from diverse backgrounds can converse about Health and Well Being in the Black Community, while enjoying a meal served by Taste & Live Catering.
Topics like culture, racism, history, and racial healing will also be touched on through the facilitated conversation.
The first meeting will be Tuesday, February 18th at the Carbondale Civic Center, each event taking place on the third Tuesday of the month until June.
Doors will open at 5pm with the conversation starting at 5:30 p.m. Seats are limited, so registration is required.
