A school bus driver and one student from Shawnee District 84 were treated and released at an area hospital after a multi-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.
A news release from the school district said the accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. on Route 3 near the Union-Alexander County line.
The driver and the lone student were the only two people inside the bus at the time of the incident.
The crash shut down Route 3 from McClure to Ware for about four hours.
No other information has been released.
