Marion, IL – Williamson County Emergency officials are bumping up the opening times for their storm shelters today.
Shelters in all over the county will open at NOON, to allow people to be in a safer location during the severe weather that's expected today.
County EMA Director Steve Land says they moved up the opening time after the National Weather Service upgraded the severe weather threat and changed the time for the highest probability of storms.
