Artspace 304 invites the public to their 35th anniversary celebration, Sunday June 12, 2022

The public is invited this Sunday to an open house to help Artspace 304 celebrate 35 years of art.

Marissa Diekhoff, outreach manager of the non-profit, says art is crucial to the mental and social health of a community.

"I think art helps us connect with each other, it helps us empathize with one another. I see art as playing a very essential role in helping Carbondale become as welcoming, and accepting as a place as we want it to be."
Marissa Diekhoff

The hours of the main gallery are Noon to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, and Sunday's open house starts at 1PM at 304 West Walnut in Carbondale.
