Inside The Blanket Fort - Episode 145 (9/27/23)

Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort as we talk with another featured author from Chicago's Printers Row Lit Fest.

On September 9th and 10th, members of the SIU Press staff traveled to Chicago to attend Printers Row Lit Fest, which is the largest free outdoor literary showcase in the Midwest. The festival features publishers of all sizes, independent authors and poets, bookstores, and more, all coming together to celebrate a shared love of books.

This week, we’ll hear from Dennis H. Cremin, author of Grant Park: The Evolution of Chicago’s Front Yard, which was originally published by SIU Press in 2013 and was released for the first time in paperback this May.

Mandi is the author of six published novels, two short fiction collections, and numerous short stories. She earned her BA and MFA in creative writing from SIU.
