Illinois high school seniors can now compete for scholarships by developing solutions to real business challenges facing retailers.
The Illinois Retail Merchants Association Thursday announced the launch of the Illinois Retail Scholarship Challenge.
Participating students will work together in teams of two to four people to develop a solution to a real-world retail challenge in collaboration with leading retail partners, including Walgreens. A handful of teams will earn the chance to present their pitch to leaders representing participating retailers. Top teams could earn up to $60,000 in scholarship funds.
The submission period is now open, and all proposals are due by March 30.
