Those born between 1965 and 1980 know that being part of Generation X is a unique experience in a time frame that saw the world go from analog to digital, from rotary phones to cell phones, and from hand-writing notes to personal computers.
Now you can experience those years all over again by visiting the Illinois State Museum in Springfield. Julie Staley has more on what it was like through the exhibit called "Growing Up X."
