Marion Police Investigate 6 Arsons Within 5 Hours

Marion Police are investigating six different reports of arson in town that occurred between 7:50 Tuesday night and around 12:50 Wednesday morning.
Officers say a utility trailer caught on fire on North Granite, a mobile home went up in flames on North Bruce, there was a small brush fire on the back porch of a residence on Maureen Drive, that was followed by a fire inside an apartment building on North Russell, then a small fire inside a residence on North Vicksburg and finally a fire started on a front porch of a residence on South Market.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Marion Police Department. The City of Marion is offering a 25-hundred dollar reward leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
