Mt. Vernon Police Arrest 5 People after a Search Warrant

Mt. Vernon Police arrested five people this morning after a search warrant. 

Police say it happened after around 7:30 am Wednesday April 8th at 311 South 2nd Street in Mt Vernon.

After a search of the residence, police found quantities of methamphetamine, money, narcotics equipment and drug scaled.

Police arrested 50 year old Sheila Johnson and 40 year old Jack Reeder, they are charged with possession of Meth and drug equipment and Intent to Deliver.

35 year old Mark Twiggs and 25 year old Christine Williams are charged with possession of Meth and Drug Equipment.

And 19 year old Hannah Clotter is charged with possession of meth between 5 and 15 grams. All five are in the Jefferson County Justice Center.
