A Carbondale man has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to Criminal Sexual Assault.
The Jackson County State's Attorney says 30-year-old Charles Minor will be required to register as a sex offender.
In May 2019, Carbondale Police responded to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale regarding a complaint of suspected criminal sexual assault to an unresponsive victim.
The investigation led to Minor's arrest. He was charged with committing an act of sexual penetration upon someone who was unable to understand the nature of the act.
