The Williamson County Sheriff's Department is conducting a death investigation following a residential burglary on Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 2 p.m., deputies responded to 1221 Morning Glory Road, where they found an injured man.
The man was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale where he was pronounced dead.
Deputies say this was not a random act.
