The Radio Players is a local community group of actors from the southern Illinois region. This production was recorded live in the WSIU Radio studios.

Author and storyteller Steve Falcone was born in the Germantown area of Philadelphia. He developed a love of language and literature, which lead to graduate studies and a college teaching career. Retired, he lives in southern Illinois where he continues his daily poetry routine, as well as writing radio plays for the local airwaves.
