Bob Hartley

Author and journalist Bob Hartley talks with Paul Simon Public Policy Institute Director John Shaw about Illinois' two most famous political Pauls: Paul Powell, former speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives and secretary of state, and Paul Simon, former U.S. senator, presidential candidate, Illinois lieutenant governor, and founder and namesake of our institute. This was the first conversation in our "Illinois Authors" speaker series. Over the next few weeks, we will be publishing our conversations with some of the writers who bring the Prairie State to life.

Hosted by John Shaw. Produced and edited by Alee Quick. This podcast is produced through a collaboration between the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute and WSIU Public Radio. For more, visit paulsimoninstitute.org/podcasts
