In an effort to delve into the concerns of his community... Murphysboro mayoral candidate Will Stephens will host a town hall meeting next week.
Stephens says that all Murphysboro residents are encouraged to attend the event which will start with a 10-15 minute presentation by Stephens outlining his plans to help put Murphysboro back on track.
Stephens says that if he is elected mayor... a town hall meeting would become an annual event.
Stephens' campaign focuses on helping Murphysboro regain its population... as well as hiring an Economic Development Director to help support current businesses and the development of new businesses.
The meeting will be held Monday, March 18th at 6:30 pm at the Davis McCann Center on North 14th Street in Murphysboro.
