Illinois' top democrat brought his re-election campaign through southern Illinois as part of an 11th hour get out the vote effort.
Democratic Governor Pat Quinn along with U-S Senator Dick Durbin stopped in Marion Monday as part of a state-wide fly around. Quinn touted his record in creating jobs and investing in education. Quinn also pushed for increasing the state's minimum wage. Quinn's message was well received before a large crowd of union supporters and democratic faithful at the Corporate Air Hanger at the Williamson County Airport.
Quinn faces republican businessman Bruce Rauner. Durbin faces republican state senator Jim Oberweis.
