The two major party candidates squared off Tuesday in their one and only face-to-face debate. WSIU's Jennifer Fuller talks with Saluki Debate Director Todd Graham about his thoughts on how Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence performed.
Graham says both candidates did well demonstrating their readiness to be President, and also attacked the opposing party's nominee.
But the coach of SIU's nationally ranked debate team says Mike Pence lost points for not defending Donald Trump - something he says will likely come up in future debates between Trump and Hillary Clinton.
