There’s an event tonight at the Carbondale Civic Center for voters to gain information about the election and the voting process.
Vote With Confidence is a citizen education project that will bring knowledge to voters.
Multiple tables will be set up where voters can find out if their registered or get registered, where to vote at, what’s on the ballot and more.
Organizer Sarah Heyer says experts will be on hand to share their knowledge with voters.
“In other rooms we'll have presentations on the other topics I mentioned debating, running for office, websites to look at home rule. Mustn't forget home rule and a polling place.
The event runs from 6 to 8 Thursday night.
