New York Times Washington Correspondent Carl Hulse visited the SIU Carbondale campus in the spring of 2023, to talk with students and others about the importance of civic engagement. During the visit, he talked with WSIU’s Jennifer Fuller about the state of politics in 2023, and what he expects for 2024.
