The body of a Marion man was recovered from Crab Orchard Lake yesterday...
Williamson County Coroner Junior Burke says the 78-year old man was spotted floating in the water just after 9:00 Monday morning, and Burke confirmed the death by 10:45am.
Investigators were on the scene on the north side of Route 13 near a boat launch, but Burke's office says no foul play is suspected in the man's death.
An autopsy was performed. The coroner's office is withholding the name of the man until family can be notified. State Police, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department are all coordinating in the investigation.
