Molly Young Family Still Looking For Answers

The mysterious case of a Carbondale woman is still being fought in the courts three years after her death.

Molly Young died three years ago Tuesday in the apartment of her ex-boyfriend, Richie Minton, who then was a dispatcher for the Carbondale Police Department. Authorities have determined Molly's death was a suicide. But, her father, Larry Young, insists she was murdered. Mr. Young says he's still fighting to get law enforcement documents involving the case.

Young filed a wrongful death suit against Minton last year. He accuses Minton of killing his daughter, despite a lack of criminal charges filed. A hearing on Minton's motion to dismiss the case was set for Tuesday in Jackson County court.
