Scholastic Hi-Q is the game show where knowledge rules! Tune in this week to see Mater Dei and Nashville go head-to-head in this battle of the brains. Keep up with which teams are advancing to the next round with the 2022-2023 Bracket.

Tune in Sunday, January 29 at 5:30pm on the WSIU stations: WSIU 8.1, WUSI 16.1, WSEC 14.1, WQEC 27.1 and WMEC 22.2 or access the WSIU local broadcast livestream online at pbs.org or via the PBS Video app. Tune in Sundays at 9:30am for an encore broadcast of last week’s match-up or stream on-demand, anytime at pbs.org.

About the Program Produced by WSIU Television since 1985, Scholastic Hi-Q is an academically based game show featuring high school teams from the Southern Illinois region. It's a single-elimination tournament in which 32 teams compete. The Hi-Q production staff is composed mainly of Southern Illinois University student employees and volunteers who gain valuable professional experience working with the WSIU Television production staff.

Scholastic Hi-Q is a fun and exciting way of demonstrating the importance of a broad-based education that also exemplifies the public educational and informational mission of WSIU Public Broadcasting and SIU. The program provides area schools an excellent opportunity to display their academic skills while promoting school spirit.
