The Fowler-Bonan Foundation will be handing out canned
soup with help from Laborers Local 773 on Saturday, April 1.
A drive-through distribution site will be set up at the Oasis Powersports
dealership, located at the former Toys-R-Us building, at 2904 W. DeYoung
Street in Marion, from 9 am-1 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Earlier in March, the cans were gathered at more than a dozen collection
sites during The Fowler Bonan Foundation’s third annual “Together We
CAN” food drive.

Congratulations to Local 773 Field Representative Tory Woods on an amazing accomplishment. Tory received the Outstanding Labor and Workforce Award for Excellence from Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs. This prestigious award is a salute to those who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to improving employment opportunities and advocating to make a positive impact in the workforce. You are an inspiration to women everywhere and we are very proud of you!
