The Southern Illinois Drug Awareness Conference at SIU Carbondale will bring participants together to discuss substance use, mental health, and homelessness and how the issues correlate.

The Southern Illinois Drug Awareness Conference at SIU Carbondale will bring participants together to discuss substance use, mental health, and homelessness and how the issues correlate.

The conference aims to have attendees share their innovative practices and work together to build partnerships and understanding, forming stronger support systems for those in need.

Educators, law enforcement, social workers, health care providers, recovery support personnel, and interested community members are invited to learn about social support tactics and topics.

The event will feature keynote presentations by experts on the subject, along with panels, workshops, vendors, and networking opportunities.
