Treasures and hard-to-find items will be discovered when the Friends of Morris Library and WSIU Radio host a massive public sale at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in March.

The Book/Vinyl and Media Sale is March 21-22 in the Morris Library basement. The sale will run from 4 to 7 p.m. March 21 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 22. Admission is free both days. Proceeds of the sale go to purchase materials and support the library’s mission and WSIU Radio.

Hardcover books are $1 apiece; paperback books, 50 cents apiece, and vinyl albums, $1 apiece. Prices will also vary on coffee table, art and photography books, as well as boxed set items. The classic vinyl and media sale will feature a variety of vinyl records and CDs ranging from classical to classic rock, along with a wide selection of DVD movies.

Only cash and checks will be accepted.
