SIU’s Flying Salukis soared to third place at the 2025 National Intercollegiate Flying Association championships in Wisconsin, extending their streak of top-five national finishes to 16 years.
Seniors Grant Gillespie, Jake Mack, and Ben Campbell each claimed individual event titles, with Gillespie tying for second overall.
Nine team members scored points during the event. Coach Nathan Lincoln praised the team’s unity, skill, and dedication, calling the performance “outstanding.”
With new talent incoming, the Flying Salukis aim to continue their legacy next season.
