Chinese documentarians visit SIU-Carbondale to talk about a program involving SIU students

Short documentaries featuring SIU-Carbondale students in the Greater Bay Area of China as college tourists premiered this week at Morris Library on the SIU campus.

Guangdong Radio Television in China invited the students to their country and then three members of the media group came to Carbondale for this week’s premiere.

WSIU’s Jeff Williams spoke with director of the Division of Chinese Media Convergence Pan Chenhong and director Yu Chen about the program to share the story of China’s Greater Bay Area.
