A cable television series is planning to return in Illinois this July to film episodes.

American Pickers on The History Channel has contacted the Murphysboro Chamber of Commerce looking for some help.

The chamber reports the show is looking for leads throughout the area. Specifically they want to find interesting characters with fascinating, different, unusual, and unique items - something they have never seen before with an extraordinary story.

It's important to remember the Pickers only pick private collections, so NO stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses, or anything open to the public.

If you know a collector interested in being considered for the show, please reach out to American Pickers directly.

Email: americanpickers@cinefliz.com

Phone: (646) 493-2184 or

Please provide the collectors name, address, telephone number, email address, and a brief description of their collection.
