The 25th Annual Taste of Chocolate event will raise money for the Survivor Environment Center.

The 25th Annual Taste of Chocolate event will raise money for the Survivor Environment Center. Meghan Cole, the center's Developmental Specialist, says the need is large and that the Survivor Center is open to accepting help and donations.

"Right now in our domestic violence shelter in Carbondale, we have the largest amount of people sheltered there in over a decade. The need is great, and it's great that we can provide services with the help of donors, volunteers, and our staff."

The fundraiser offers guests a full dinner, a chocolate tasting, auctions, a cash bar, and live music. The Taste of Chocolate takes place on April 5, 2024, at 5 pm at Walker's Bluff Casino and Resort.
