Six schools in Southern Illinois are competing to win a five thousand dollar grant in Arrowleaf's School Grant Contest.

Six schools in Southern Illinois are competing to win a five thousand dollar grant in Arrowleaf's School Grant Contest. Buncombe, Hardin County High School, Vienna Grade School, Vienna High School, Meridian, and Anna-Jonesboro High School compete to sell ultimate family destination raffle tickets from March 30 to May 6.

The contest supports Arrowleaf's initiative to construct an emergency shelter for those experiencing homelessness. The school that sells the most tickets will win the grand prize, and the top-selling class or club will also win a pizza party.

Allison Schuster, the Development Officer at Arrowleaf, encourages supporters to visit myarrowleaf.org/shop to place orders to boost each school's chances of winning.

The ticket sale deadline is May 6, and the winner will be announced on Facebook on May 10.
