Centerstone is calling on communities across Illinois to shine a light on individuals making a difference in mental health. Nominations are now open for the Life;Story Champion Award—an honor that celebrates educators, advocates, and changemakers who have raised awareness, fought stigma, and encouraged people to seek help.

The award aims to recognize those who’ve sparked real change—whether through their workplace, their local school, or simply through compassion in their community.

Finalists and the winner will be honored during the Life;Story 5K Run and Walk at Ray Fosse Park in Marion on Saturday, September 6. The race begins at 7 a.m., with the ceremony to follow.

Nominations close Friday, August 15. Visit centerstone.org for details.
