Rep. Severin "State Parks Should Open Back Up"

House Republicans are outlining what they would like to see happen to start to re-open Illinois.

Several representatives met to discuss there plans on how they think the state should move forward during the pandemic.

Representative Dave Severin of Benton says state parks should open back up.

"Campsites are a great place to do social distancing because their remote, hiking trails their remote, horse and ATV trails they are definietly remote. So there many activities that can be enjoyed by Illinoisans while maintaing social distancing." Severin said.

Other suggestions from the House GOP include letting business like hair salons, barbers, dog groomers and clothing retailers open if proper safety precautions are taken.
