If a child has not learned to read by the end of third grade, educators say that child is likely to struggle throughout his or her education.

Since September 1, 2024, Read S-I has helped to deliver nearly 66,000 books to children age birth to 5.

Over 20 partner agencies and individuals are working together, hoping to launch the initiative by July 1st.
