Students from the Jackson County CEO program recently visited WSIU to learn more about the broadcast industry. The March 1 meeting including a discussion about marketing and advertising strategy with WSIU Associate Director of Corporate Support Brian Flath. Each student is tasked with launching a business, so the information was beneficial for them, as they will need to decide how to create awareness for their product or service.
The students also toured the WSIU-FM studios and were given an overview of TV Master Control by WSIU Associate Director of Television and Video Services Darryl Moses.
The six students were joined by their facilitator, Pastor Christopher Swims.
