Carbondale, IL – There are many reasons why people who are retired decide to return to work.
Some retirees look for jobs to supplement their income...some want to use their skills to help others or simply want encore careers.
John Smith executive director of the Egyptian Area Agency on Aging says other retirees return to the workforce because they don't like being idle.
He says returning to the job market may require some job re-training, but retirees prove to be motivated.
