Carbondale, IL – G.I. jobs Magazine has named Ameren Corporation as one of the top 100 military-friendly employers in the U.S.
Ameren spokeswoman Brianne Lindemann says about 600 of Ameren's 97,000 employees served in the military.
Ameren's military recruiting strategy includes nationwide events from base visits to career fairs and multiple online resources. The company also provides security and support to reservists and their families through continued benefits when reservists are called to active duty.
Lindemann says the article on military friendly employers will be featured in G.I. jobs December issue.
