Indiana Man Held in Stabbing

By By: The Associated Press

Elizabethtown, IL – An Indiana man is accused of cutting another man's throat and stabbing a woman during a weekend motorcycle rally in deep southern Illinois.

Hardin County prosecutors charged 39-year-old Keith Craig of Evansville with one count of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery.

Investigators say the altercation happened Sunday near the main concession area at the Hog Rock campground near Cave-In-Rock.

A bystander also was treated for burns he suffered during the fight, when witnesses say he was pushed onto a pot of boiling water.

The suspect remains jailed in Harrisburg on $250,000 bond.
