The American Red Cross is holding blood drives across the region today. One will take place at Holiday Rambler in DuQuoin from 9am until 1pm. Another blood drive will take place at the American Legion Post in Murphysboro from 2pm until 6 pm this afternoon.
Today the American Cancer Society's Cancer Answer Tour stops in Centralia from 9am until 11am at Cancer Care Specialists of Centralia. There are a variety of resources available to anyone, including care givers, dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
On Friday, July 22nd a free Zumba class will be held at the Friday Night Fair on the town square pavilion in Carbondale. The free class is from 6:00 pm until 6:45 pm and will lead by the SIUC Student Recreation Center. More information is on line at www.carbondalemainstreet.com
