The Shawnee Group Sierra Club presents Biologist John Palis this month. Palis will discuss amphibian and reptile surveys he's conducted in southern Illinois during the meeting on Thursday, September 8. The event gets underway at 7:30pm at the Carbondale Township Hall.
The Southern Illinois Roller Girls return to their home arena this weekend with a double-header bout against the DuPage Derby Dames and Demolition City Roller Girls.
